Choosing your fit type?
Fitting BEHIND the brickwork:
If you wish to have your door fitted behind the brickwork, then please check to make sure you have a minimum of 90mm behind each reveal (measurements 3 and 4 on the guide above). Along with a minimum of 300mm available behind the lintel (measurement 5 on the guide below).
The minimum side room required for a behind-fit is 90mm behind each reveal. (this allows for the guides)
The minimum headroom required for a behind-fit is 300mm behind the lintel. (this allows for the top box that the door rolls up into.)
Fitting INBETWEEN the brickwork:
If you wish to have your door fitted between the brickwork, we will deduct the guide and box for you, so please enter the opening sizes. (Measurements 1 and 2 on the guide above)
We always suggest allowing a 10mm tolerance on both the height and width for inbetween fits. For example, if your opening width is 2400 mm, then you should place the order as 2390 mm.
